We will be doing the two night overland run again with Walt this year. This run will leave Monday July 13 and return Wednesday July 16 (prior to the official start of the Black Hills Cruiser Classic) from Hidden Valley Campground. Doing this early allows for the group to get back so they don’t miss any of the event trails. You’ll spend the majority of miles on dirt/two track trails, see active fire towers, mines, stage stops and old townships, top several peaks, and spend two nights primitive camping in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. You’ll be responsible for bringing your own camping gear, food and water, and any other supplies you deem necessary. This is a trip into the southern Black Hills where Classic participants rarely get to go due to the remoteness from the event campground. Space will be limited, but those that join will be in for a treat. Cost is $125.00 in addition to your Black Hills Cruiser Classic registration. Once registered you will receive individual confirmation and instructions. This run will be lead by Walt Digmann, a walking encyclopedia of information about the Black Hills.
