3.9 (4)

"3.9" is a new trail for this years BHCC, it is rated a 4. Once you begin this trail, you are there for the duration. Almost right away you will test your maneuvering skills on Old Slip Slide. This massive flat rock is embedded at a slight angle along the trail. If it is a little damp from the dew or rain, it must be driven straight up only to intentionally slide sideways back down in order to get around the big boulder. If you miscalculate, your rocker panel will have a new friend in Old Slip Slide's counterpart. Make certain your tire placement is just so at Granite Crack. Select your line and maintain your momentum as you climb up the Bowling Alley. At the top of the Bowling Alley, slow to a crawl to squeeze past Quarter-Panel Pass. This trail is as much fun as you can have single in a 4-rated vehicle but watch out for rain because in a storm, 3.9 goes to a 4.5 in a real hurry.
