No alcohol permitted on the trail; no pets or firearms permitted in camp
or on the trail.
The trail leader is responsible for the conduct of the trail ride and
his/her decisions are final. Trail leaders can disqualify any vehicle due to lack of
ability to complete the trail. If you leave a trail ride before the conclusion, you
must contact the trail leader before leaving. CB radio is used by trail leaders to
facilitate the trail ride. Foul language is not permitted.
Vehicle technical inspections will be conducted for required safety and
trail equipment. Drive responsibly to protect the environment and only where motorized
vehicles are permitted. All participants must abide by U.S. Forest Service/Badlands
National Park rules and regulations. Do not take items from historic sites; leave history
for all to enjoy.
Make sure you always maintain visual contact with the vehicles around
you on trail rides. Stop and wait for the vehicle behind you if you lose sight.
All vehicles must be street legal, licensed, four wheel drives. Have
your own liability insurance. The BHCC is not responsible for accidents, damage, or injury
to persons or vehicles. All drivers must be legally licensed and are responsible for the
occupants of that vehicle. No motorcycles, three wheelers, ATVs, etc., will be allowed at
any time.
Each vehicle must have a fire extinguisher, first aid kit and comply
with TLCA safety requirements. A CB, tools, hi-lift jack, winch and spare parts are
recommended.
